Our Curriculum

Though research and statistics note that full immersion learning is the optimal way to acquire a second language, instruction for Mobile Afterschool programming follows a 90/10 immersion model (90% Spanish/Mandarin and 10% English) to help ease the anxieties of children and families who may be more familiar with English and less familiar with learning in a 100% full immersion setting.

Everything Mobile Afterschool teaches is designed to exceed the expectations of discerning families who choose for their children to have meaningful cultural learning opportunities that will both enhance their children’s school-readiness skills and future positioning in the world. Our classes are built on successfully tried and tested routines that promote fun and interactive engagement to get children motivated and excited to learn new things while making new friends in the process!

Classes may be split between ages and abilities, but might also consist of mixed-age groups, since we respect the fact that all children learn differently and that children who may be the same age may also have differing capabilities and development. Mobile Afterschool always teaches with intent towards ability, which makes our programming distinguishable amongst most other afterschool programs.
