Costs
The walk-over rate is $135 per week for programming and the bus over rate is $150 per week for programming.
Each weekly program cost must be paid prior to Monday of a new school week for a child to be picked up either via foot or bus.
Mobile Afterschool cannot pick up students who have not pre-scheduled for activities by the above cut off time and cannot accept payments on Mondays. We kindly ask all families intending for their children to attend to please adhere to this policy if they intend for their children to participate for any week of programming.
Mobile Afterschool is not responsible for the care of children who have not pre-scheduled to be on the pickup roster for any week of programming.
Mobile Afterschool also charges a $135 deposit that will be used for late fees charged at $3.00 per minute for any pickup occurring anytime after 6pm. The deposit or remainder will be refunded at the end of programming.

Due to the quality and consistency of our programming, costs are not pro-rated or refundable for any reason unless Mobile Afterschool is not operating due to inclement weather or other reasons that would not permit programming on a particular day.
Mobile Afterschool is a private and independent program that does not rely on DCPS, MSDE, or other school district policies to serve families. We ask that all families considering enrollment please read all policies and ask any questions prior to enrollment.
Due to the need to have meaningful ratios for afterschool programming, enrollment is only done by request for an application to the director at director@mobileafterschool.com or director@thesocraticschooloflanguage.com. Enrollment will open on May 15, 2024.
Scholarships
The Mount Rainier, MD location accepts scholarships at this time from students who reside in Prince George's County, MD, via the Maryland EXCELS program. For more information about qualifications and application procedures, please visit https://marylandexcels.org to inquire.
Mobile Afterschool does not control decisions made on behalf of Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) or create guidelines for scholarship applicants.
